The Great Intercessor

Romans 8:26-28 NIV says, “In the same way, the Spirit helps us in our weakness.  We do not know what we ought to pray for, but the Spirit Himself intercedes for us with groans that words cannot express.  And He who searches our hearts, knows the mind of the Spirit, because the Spirit intercedes for the saints in accordance with God’s will.   And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love Him, who have been called according to His purpose.”

The Power of Prayer – we truly believe in the power of prayer!  Nothing is too hard for God!  Even when you might not know what to pray, the Holy Spirit prays with and for you, and God answers.  Join us for our noon Prayer Monday through Friday and Saturday Prayer at 8:00 a.m.

The Battle of the Old Man versus the New Man
In tough time, the old man’s voice is the one that is always telling us to just stop and give up. The old man is saying “Don’t listen to that stuff, because you know you will only be disappointed once again”. The old man is really in a state of damnation therefore, what else is he to say. He is the one who is always in our ear seemingly telling us what is not possible, what can not happen, the reasons it can’t happen and the reason it is not possible. As I’ve said, the old man has been with you so long, the old man provides a false sense of comfort and familiarity.
