Patricia Turner: Director

Psalms 138:1-2 NIV – I will praise you, O Lord, with all my heart; before the “gods” I will sing your praise. I will bow down toward your holy temple and will praise your name for your love and your faithfulness, for you have exalted above all things your name and your word.

God invites all to worship and praise Him.  At the city of the Lord Zion, we welcome all to fully engage in our worship service.  We:

  • Teach and Preach the Word Jesus gave.
  • Praise the Lord in song and with musical instruments.
  • Are Free to worship the Lord as He directs us.
  • Have love one to another.
  • Can discover our destiny in the Lord.

We invite all to participate in singing, praising and giving thanks.  Our music style is mostly contemporary praise and worship, and hymns. Our Music Director is a powerful woman of God who writes many inspiring and exciting songs.  Please feel free to visit her website at www.PTSongs.com and check out her lastest CDs and upcoming events.  In fact, on our website’s Home page, is a sample of her song, “We Believe”!

Our worship music is accompanied by our keyboards, piano, drums and guitars and supported by a small ensemble of anointed singers.

The Battle of the Old Man versus the New Man
In tough time, the old man’s voice is the one that is always telling us to just stop and give up. The old man is saying “Don’t listen to that stuff, because you know you will only be disappointed once again”. The old man is really in a state of damnation therefore, what else is he to say. He is the one who is always in our ear seemingly telling us what is not possible, what can not happen, the reasons it can’t happen and the reason it is not possible. As I’ve said, the old man has been with you so long, the old man provides a false sense of comfort and familiarity.
